America the . . . I spent a fair amount of time considering what to call this episode. Sometimes a name seems just right, and with others, it's only vaguely related, and once in a while I'll take a cheap shot with something bound to get your attention. However, with this one, America is so many thing, and nothing came to mind that seemed to fit best. So . . . I'll leave it open for you to decide. I hope, no matter where you live, that you're doing well. Please feel free to send me an email at runwaypodcast@yahoo.com. I really do enjoy hearing from you. Every time someone else writes in, I get a better idea of who I'm out running with. You don't necessarily have to have a comment, just a quick "hello" and a little bit about yourself would be great. Thanks to Bill Mallonee for allowing me to use "America". Plese look up Bill and the Vigilante of Love to discover some of the greatest songwriting you'll ever come across. And until I talk to you again . . . I hope you have a great day! Patrick |

Keepin' the peace. I don't know if it's just me, but free time...you know time in the quantities that allow for boredom have been almost non-existent lately. But that's OK. I'm enjoying life. I just have to be a little more deliberate about making time when I can, and choosing to slow down mentally and enjoy the things that a moment provides. This show is less than half of it's originally recored length. The wind was stronger than I realized, and I had to cut most of it out. I was a little disappointed at first, but I'm OK with it now. I'm just glad to be able get this show out to you. Thanks to everyone that has emailed me. I really enjoy hearing from you, and like to know that I'm a small part of your life. You don't have to have anything special to say, just a quick "Hi" is always great. Music this week is provided by the lovely birds in my back yard, and "Salt in the Sea" is by House of Heroes. . . . until I talk to you again, I hope you have a great day! Patrick |

Unimaginable Destruction. It was challenging to describe the variety of changes I experienced in short period of time. From the race track to the Falcon's cage. From the celebration of a life well lived to the tragic end to lives cut short by a force almost beyond comprehension. Music is provided by agesandages. the song is "These Elbows". Please send all emails to runwaypodcast@yahoo.com . . . and until I talk to you again, I hope you have a great day! Patrick |

In the dark. Finally after 56 weeks of work, I'm on vacation! (But who's counting)? I have discovered a phenomenon in that the more interesting the show title, the more downloads I receive. I briefly considered calling this episode Murderball, but that's not exctly accurate. (Wall of Death and O Brother Where Art Thou are two of the most downloaded episodes I've done. I'll discuss this more in detail in a future episode). "When I was Idle" was provided by agesandages. Please fell free to contact me at runwaypodcast@yahoo.com Until I talk to you again, I hope you haver as great day! Patrick |
